Step Zero: Listen to the Album
Ideally you are kicking back after work with your hifi and your highball, but let's be realistic.
Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube, your "yell-at-it box" [Alexa] as they say on WQXR.
The album is called Hindenburg Variations by Silver Heir.
Listen. The whole thing if you can.
But even a little bit helps.
Loved it
Onward and downward! This is exciting.
It wasn't bad
I'll take it! Skip to Step 2 and maybe Step 4. That's plenty.
Not for me
OK, sure, but did you try track 6? I'm joking. Thank you for listening! Genuinely. Take my gratitude and return to your day.
If you liked it, even a little
Step 1 · The Easiest Thing
Save it / heart it
On Spotify: hit the heart icon on the album or individual songs.
On Apple Music: tap the star or "Love" it.
This tells the algorithm that a real human listened to this real human music. Yes, it's that bad out there.
Step 2 · 30 Seconds
Follow Silver Heir
On Spotify, Apple Music, and/or Bandcamp. Wherever you listen.
This means any music we make down the line automatically shows up in your Release Radar or notifications. You're essentially subscribing.
Step 3 · The One That Pays the Bills
Buy it on Bandcamp
If you want to actually support the music financially, this is the move. Bandcamp gives artists ~85% of every sale. At $7.65 for us, that equates to eighty bajillion Spotify streams (I'm estimating and rounding up).

Step 4 · The Multiplier
Add a song to your playlists
Drop a track into a playlist you actually listen to. Again, this is telling our machine overlords (and their Swedish overlords in turn) that a real human listens to this.
Step 5 · The Human Touch
Tell someone who'd actually like it
Meaning, think of one person who might like our stuff, and send it to them directly. Text a link. Plug in the aux cable and blast it in the Honda Civic. You know what I mean.
Step 6 · Social Proof
Leave a review or rating
A short review on Bandcamp or a rating on Apple Music / Amazon Music makes a huge difference. It doesn't have to be eloquent. "Great album, I enjoyed it" is more than enough. When someone lands on the page, those early reviews are the difference between "let me try this" and "looks like AI slop."
Step 7 · Extra Credit
Post about it
Instagram story, a tweet, a Facebook post, a Substack Note. Everything helps.
That's it. Thank you.
Making this album was a years-long labor of love. Just listening means everything to us.
